Did you know Anthropologie has a garden store????? I didn’t until a recent trip to West Elm led to a conversation about house plants & succulents (I have a very brown thumb…). The sales associate asked if I’d ever been to Terrain, the garden store by Anthropologie. What?? Say no more, I’m there.
So after about eight attempts to get Kyle to come with me, I FINALLY convinced him to check out the store for brunch & browsing (his two favorite things…). If you’re an Anthropologie fan, you have to come to Philadelphia. Since the company is head quartered here, we have some fantastic stores here (the flagship in Wayne, the 3 story shop in Rittenhouse…) and are lucky to be one of two cities in the US to have Terrain.
We started with brunch outside – sharing a sweet & savory option of french toast and potato hash. I opted for a fancy latte, although the fruit spritzers sounded sooo refreshing. We soaked in the beauty around us, surrounded by flowers & sculptures and everything you’d imagine a place decorated by Anthropologie would look like.
After brunch, we went inside. HOLY COW – I can’t even do the place justice on here. All I can say is WOW. Room after room of pretty things. As simple as that. From home decor for your bathroom or kitchen to indoor & outdoor flowers & planters to food options like cocktail mixers & fancy chocolate. I could have spent hours there…and we did. But as Kyle’s patience wore out, I took one last picture and proceeded to plan my next trip there (currently planned for May 30th…). I highlyrecommend checking out Terrain’s website and buying your own pretty things to get ready for summer!!
