Happy Friday!! This is the official start of a week long staycation for me, and I couldn’t be more excited. So in that spirit, these are some things I’m looking forward to trying out next week!
The theme for next week is “Relaxation” and what screams relaxation better than a massage??? While my prenatal massage is scheduled for Thursday, I try to recreate that experience at home by adding a few drops of Aveda Peppermint Oil to my lotion and (…have Kyle) massage my feet or neck!
I’m also really excited that “The Rumor” by Elin Hilderbrand is officially out! I am currently working on 2 other books, so it may be too ambitious to try and read 3 books in one week, but I’m up for a challenge! (Other books being read include: “French Coast” & “Driving with the Top Down“. If only I could be drinking a pina colada and be laying by the beach…
But since I can’t, I may just have to try out this recipe for an Iced Caramel Macchiato. While it was a sponsored post by Nestle, so I’m not REALLY sure how it would taste, it definitely looks amazing. And heck, if I can’t make it myself there are tons of places I can test out this week!
And to round out my relaxation week, I need to go shopping. It is very therapeutic for me. Whether I’m just window shopping or on the hunt for something in particular, I really love shopping. There are tons of errands I need to run (last minute baby purchases, getting a new phone (!!!!), and groceries…) I want to browse Sephora, Nordstrom, J. Crew and Williams Sonoma – my 4 go to shopping places when I get to King of Prussia.
I’m getting anxious for dressing WITHOUT the bump, and this post on The Ivory Lane has be yearning to get the pieces to recreate this look! Even if I’m not completely back to my pre-baby shape & size, I think I can still rock this look late August, right??? And while I’m out shopping, there will definitely be froyo that is consumed (Pinkberry is my favorite).
What would you do on a week off at home??
