Davines Well-Being Shampoo – $26.50

I have friends who swear by Davines for all their hair care needs. Free of sulphates & parabens, Davines brand will make your hair & heart feel good. I haven’t tried much, but the Well-Being shampoo is top of my list!!

Reverie Milk Anti-Frizz Treatment – $42 (ships free with Prime!)

I have a couple “milk” based anti-frizz products, and I love them.  Apply to damp hair and frizz be gone!

Drybar The 3-Day Bender 1.25″ – $199

When I lived in Chicago, a Drybar opened near our apartment in Lincoln Park. It was such a fun atmosphere, and my first experience getting blowouts. Their whole product line smells & works great! This is by far the best tool for both loose or tight curls. It works as a wand, but also has a clamp for tighter curls. Plus, it heats up in 60 secs but watch out, I’ve burned myself multiple times!!! I also have “Buttercup” (the blow dryer), “Bay Breeze” Hydrating Shots (perfect for the winter dry air), and the “Full Pint” styling brush from Drybar. All great items!!

R+Co Outer Space Flexible Hairspray – $17/2.25oz or $29/9.5oz (both ship free with Amazon Prime!)

Flexible Hairspray keeps the curl, but doesn’t have the added weight of a heavy duty hairspray. Perfect for loose curls or messy waves.

  • I love Aveda’s dry shampoo. It works great to tame the grease, smells wonderful and doesn’t make my head itch like so many of the other ones on the market today. I’ll have to check out your suggestion – I’ve never heard of it before.

  • I’m on a quest to figure out my favorite hair products now. I love/hate the ones with silicone in them because while they make my hair nice one day, it is a greasy mess the next and blocks moisture. I’ve tried the Milk and it was okay but my hair may just be too straight for it. Love dry bar products!

  • My hair is so thin and fine, so finding products that don’t leave it weighed down or oily looking/feeling is pretty tricky, but I’m intrigued by the hairspray. My hair doesn’t hold anything – a wave, a curl.. it’s really hard to get some texture. I’ll have to look into this!

  • I may be late to the party but I’ve just started using shampoo free of sulfates and I love! I never get itchy scalp anymore, which is so great during the winter. And I can feel my hair getting healthier and stronger. Love it!
