Valentine’s Day is definitely a top 3 holiday for me. For all you Valentine’s Day haters out there, hear me out. I love Valentine’s Day for the candy, decor, and all things pink! These cookies have been saved on my Pinterest board for a while now, and I was excited to have a free weekend to get some baking done. This recipe is seriously the EASIEST recipe ever, and excluding the Reese’s hearts, you likely have everything already in your pantry!
Once they come out of the oven, I let them cool slightly before adding the chocolate hearts. It’s a fine balance between putting them on too early and having a melted mess on your hands, and waiting too long and the heart not adhering. Let’s just say I have a mix of both…but no one is complaining!
How delicious do these look? I was able to make 30 cookies, and my Reese’s bag came with 31 hearts. Perfect to have one leftover as a little snack during the baking process.
I put the full recipe below – it takes about 15-20 minutes to get the ingredients together, and 8 minutes to bake! The longest (and hardest) part is having patience to let the chocolate cool completely before digging in!!
